Working on Campus
Monday through Thursday, I work two jobs that are right above each other. This is the distance that I have to go. I go right down these stairs. One of my jobs is here in the Call Center, also known as the Library Auditorium. In the Call Center, we do outbound calling to prospective students, and we come down here to the cabinet, where we grab our binder where our script is. We grab our headset, and then we make calls. So our typical day-- it looks like this. We come down. We go to a computer. We grab our headset. We plug it in. We have our script, and then we make calls throughout the computer. My other job is in the marketing department. I'm working with an actual marketing professional and a whole actual professional marketing team, so I'm working on things like building ads for the school's website, managing the school's social media-- stuff like that. Working in the marketing department is a really good resume builder, and it's actually preparing me for my future.
