Men of Distinction

I'm in a group called Men of Distinction. We meet every Sunday at 5:00 and every Monday at 8:00. Men of Distinction is basically a group-- it's like a business group where we try to prepare each other to better ourselves for the future. We try to have professional development, where we do resume building, things like how to tie a tie, things that will prepare us for the real world. This is the MOD officer meeting that we have every Monday. We come here and we discuss all of our updates for the week. [chatter] We talk about things like how we can have community outreach, how we're going to better things on campus, talk about how we're going to host events on campus to try to get people to come together. Men of Distinction was just built to try to get people to come together. It's just really about equality. And I just felt like this would be a good environment for me to be a part of. I felt like it would be something that's extracurricular.
