Hey, guys. I am in the IWL Room. I am the vice president of the History Club. I am in the Model UN Club. I am a panelist on the IWL, and I'm in the Emerging Leaders Program as well.
Being a part of so many clubs can be a little bit difficult for a commuter, but it's something that I recommend. Yes, you're going to have a busy schedule. You, you may have to drive back and forth to school. But you're going to get much more involved. And it also has made it easier to come by familiar faces and just greet people around the campus.
When I tried out for the IWL panel, I was really nervous, and I almost chickened out. But then I ended up going to the freshman year dinner that the IWL holds, and I was convinced to join.
I've been able to put on events on my own like. I put on one about the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, and I'm putting on one about income inequality with single moms. Nichols is definitely a place where there are many opportunities that students can take advantage of and that's one of the reasons why I love it here.
